Turkmenistan and UAE strengthen cooperation in chemical and oil and gas sectors

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al-Mazroui met on Friday, November 17. During the talks, the sides discussed topical issues of expanding cooperation in the chemical and oil and gas sectors. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Priority areas of the Turkmen-Emirati partnership were also named, including the banking sector, electric power industry and transport and communication sector of the economy. It was emphasized that the relations between the two countries are developing dynamically, which is facilitated by the effective interstate dialogue at the level of heads of state.

In this context, the sides emphasized the special significance of the visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the UAE in November last year, as well as the visit of Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov earlier this year.
