President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Ashgabat Mohd Suhaimi Ahmad Tajuddin on November 22. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
During the credentials presentation ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia emphasized that the country attaches great importance to strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkmenistan. Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to the responsible position and wished him success in carrying out his mission to strengthen bilateral relations.
It was emphasized that Malaysia is one of the main partners of Turkmenistan in the Asia-Pacific region. During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and further prospects of Turkmen-Malaysian relations. Wide opportunities for the development of cooperation in political and diplomatic, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were noted.
