President of Turkmenistan meets with the Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy

On Tuesday, February 21, Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Natalia Herman, head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy and Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for the Central Asian region, had an official meeting. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that preventive diplomacy is an effective tool in identifying and eliminating various negative factors that jeopardize global and regional security. He emphasized the important role played in this regard by the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia.

Natalia German expressed gratitude for the creation of new platforms of interaction and the long-term support of Turkmenistan, which contributed to the successful diplomatic work.

The two sides expressed mutual hopes to strengthen the traditional partnership.
