Rashid Meredov meets with French Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R. Meredov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic Philippe Merlin met on June 15. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the Ambassador presented the Minister with copies of his credentials. Rashid Meredov congratulated the French diplomat on his appointment and expressed readiness to support him in his diplomatic mission.

The parties discussed the prospects for the development of interstate relations. At present, the countries actively cooperate and support each other's initiatives within the framework of international organizations. The sides have achieved effective cooperation in the spheres of culture and archaeology, in the study of the French language.

During the conversation, promising areas for further partnership were highlighted, including the development of trade and economic relations in energy, logistics and "green" technologies.
