Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the title of Hero of Turkmenistan

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov was solemnly awarded the title of Hero of Turkmenistan during a meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty on September 24, 2023 in Ashgabat. This is reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

During the ceremony, Chairman of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova read out the Decree of the Parliament "On awarding the title of Hero of Turkmenistan to President of Turkmenistan Berdimuhamedov Serdar Gurbangulyevich Berdimuhamedov".

The high title of Hero of Turkmenistan was conferred on the Head of State for his personal contribution to strengthening the country's independence, adherence to the principles of permanent and unchanging neutrality, enhancement of Turkmenistan's international prestige, strengthening of statehood and development of friendly relations with foreign countries. The awarding of the title was timed to coincide with the celebration of the 32nd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.
