Consular Turkmen-Azerbaijani consultations took place

Heads of consular services of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan took part in consular consultations in Baku on May 26 this year. This was reported on the official website of the country's Foreign Ministry.

Consular issues related to the interests of both countries were discussed during the meeting. In addition, the agenda included the legal status of Turkmen citizens in Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani citizens in Turkmenistan, including students on exchange programs.

The representatives of the states also noted the need to develop further bilateral relations between the migration services of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. The Protocol of Consular Turkmen-Azerbaijani Consultations was signed as a result of the meeting.
