Meeting of members of the Government of Turkmenistan and the UN on the Framework Program was held

On April 20, heads and staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of agencies and ministries held a joint meeting with the heads of UN specialized agencies. The meeting was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The agenda was the Framework Program of Cooperation in the field of sustainable development for the period of 2021-2025. In particular, the issues of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United Nations in the field of security, ecology and environmental protection, food security, digitalization and data management were discussed. The issues of cooperation in education and health care were also discussed.

The Turkmen delegation presented the SDGs implementation project. The Parties shared their views on the recently submitted Voluntary National Reviews.
