During the conversation, the heads of state discussed a number of issues related to interstate cooperation in political and diplomatic, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The sides noted the special importance of Turkmenistan-Iran interaction with the UN and other international organizations, as well as the coincidence of views on many issues.
The Heads of State emphasized the effective work of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation. At the end of the conversation, the Presidents of Turkmenistan and Iran expressed interest in further continuation of Turkmen-Iranian relations.
