GDP growth rate of Turkmenistan in 2024 amounted to 6.3%

Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan H. Geldimiradov presented a report on macroeconomic indicators for January-February 2024 during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

According to the Deputy Prime Minister's report, the GDP growth rate for the first two months of this year amounted to 6.3%. The volume of production increased by 7.9%. Retail trade turnover increased by 10.5TP3T compared to the same period last year, and foreign trade turnover - by 1.%. The revenue part of the State Budget was executed at the level of 107.2 %, and the expenditure part - 97.9 %. The size of wages in large and medium-sized enterprises increased by 10.3%. The volume of utilized investments increased by 24.6%.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to continue working to maintain the country's GDP growth and to ensure the fulfillment of production plans by the relevant agencies.
