Turkmenistan's silk cocoon harvest has started to arrive at the receiving centers of Turkmenistan

Lebap province of Turkmenistan has started to deliver the first crops of silk cocoon to the country's treasuries in accordance with the contractual obligations. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

In total, Czarzewski, Sayatski and Danevski stages are to hand over more than 580 tons of silkworm cocoons. Harvesting continues. This year contracts have been concluded with more than 21 thousand silkworm tenants.

Within the framework of the state program for the development of the country's agro-industrial complex, all measures are taken to care for silk cocoons. Effective care measures as well as the work of qualified specialists contribute to a large harvest of cocoons produced by the economic association "Lebapwelaýatýüpek". In total, the eastern region of the country plans to produce more than 1,000 tons of silk cocoons at the end of the season.
