Head of Turkmenistan meets with Deputy Chairman of the CPPCC of China

On May 18, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Shen Yueyue, Vice-Chairman of the All-China Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). This is reported by the Internet publication "Vestiabad".

At the beginning of the meeting, Shen Yueyue congratulated the President on Constitution and State Flag Day and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the celebrations on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi. The sides noted the strategic nature of Turkmen-Chinese cooperation.
The interlocutors emphasized the importance of the Türkmen-Hytaý zenanlarynyň dünýäsi forum, which examined the role of women in the social and political development of the two countries.

It was noted that cooperation in cultural-humanitarian, trade-economic and energy spheres occupies an important place in the bilateral relations between China and Turkmenistan.
