Turkmen and Uzbek customs officers held a meeting in Turkmenabad

Customs experts from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan met at the base of Lebap Velayat customs office in Turkmenabad. This was reported by the Internet publication "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".

The main topic of the meeting was the comparison of customs statistics in the field of mutual trade. During the round table, the participants discussed the methodology of forming data on foreign trade for Turkmen and Uzbek customs services, analyzed the results of last year's activities in such areas as "exports of Uzbekistan - imports of Turkmenistan" and "imports of Uzbekistan - exports of Turkmenistan".

The meeting was held in accordance with the protocol between the customs authorities of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan on the exchange of information on the movement of goods in the framework of mutual trade.
