From December 21 to 22, a high-level group meeting was held in Moscow within the framework of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation, the topic of which was support for trade and investment. This was reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation.
The Turkmen delegation at the meeting was headed by Deputy Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations K. Kurbanov. The Russian participants of the meeting were headed by Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation D. Volvach.
Among the topics discussed at the meeting are topical issues of the implementation of joint projects between Russia and Turkmenistan, expansion of foreign economic ties, development of cooperation in the spheres of energy and education.
The 9th meeting of the Group resulted in the signing of the Protocol on Trade and Investment Support.
