Turkmenistan became a participant of the media forum in Saudi Arabia

A representative of the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography took part in an international major media forum in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is reported by the Internet publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

The event was organized by the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and was attended by more than 50 news agencies from around the world, as well as academics, ministers and political analysts.

On the margins of the forum, the representative of Turkmenistan held a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of foreign news agencies on issues of further cooperation.

The media forum addressed the development of responsible and balanced media, the problems of spreading inaccurate information, and the strengthening of ties between different countries and peoples. Much attention was paid to the importance of in-depth analysis of information and minimizing errors in media coverage of world events, which is important for maintaining positive interconnection of the world's nations with different cultures and religions.
