Turkmenistan is ready to deepen cooperation with the CTBTO

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) Robert Floyd in Ashgabat on July 30. The head of state expressed confidence that the visit would contribute to strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and the largest international organization, TDH reports.

During the conversation, the sides noted the productive nature of bilateral cooperation, in particular, in the field of seismology and monitoring of nuclear tests.

As noted, Turkmenistan, as a party to a number of major international treaties on the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, has been steadfastly fulfilling its obligations and making a significant contribution to strengthening international security.
