A seminar on customs policy was held in Turkmenistan

The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan organized a seminar on "Modern customs policy - a guarantee of foreign trade development" in Lebap. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The seminar was attended by employees of Lebap Customs, the State Plant Quarantine Service, the State Veterinary Service, employees of the agencies "Turkmendemiryollary" and "Turkmenavtowlaglary", representatives of transportation companies and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

On the agenda are protection of the domestic market, promotion of import substitution, promotion of exports by granting privileges to exporters, implementation of customs reforms and the role of the country's customs policy in these issues.
