Turkmenistan and Armenia discussed prospects of cooperation

During the January 17 meeting between Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Armenia M. Ayazov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia M. Safaryan the prospects of further cooperation were discussed. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The sides discussed the potential for expanding partnership in trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, transport and logistics, scientific and educational spheres. In addition, the expediency of expanding the legal framework for cooperation was stated.

In the course of the talk the sides discussed issues related to the organization of the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Armenian Commission on Economic Cooperation.
The Turkmen Ambassador spoke about a number of events organized by the Embassy this year to mark the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi, as well as about the announcement of the year 2024 in Turkmenistan as the year of "The Treasure of Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Mind".
