Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan held intermidoval consultations

On May 27, Turkmen-Kazakh inter-ministerial political consultations were held. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen delegation was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov, while the Kazakh side was represented by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu.

During the talks, the level of political and diplomatic dialog between the two countries and the implementation of the agreements reached earlier were reviewed. A high level of interaction in the "CA+" format, as well as within the framework of international and regional organizations - UN, OIC, ECO, CIS - was noted.

The sides expressed mutual readiness to develop effective mutually beneficial cooperation in different directions. The effectiveness of inter-parliamentary cooperation and the need to intensify inter-ministerial cooperation were noted. Other areas of interstate partnership were also discussed.
