Turkmenistan and IOM develop cooperation

Manfred Profazi - Regional Director of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for South-East, Eastern Europe and Central Asia during a forum in Ashgabat on April 11 noted that Turkmenistan is a key partner in promoting peace and security. This is reported by the Internet publication "SNG.today".

The conference is dedicated to the declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust. Special attention is paid to the implementation of the global compact for safe, orderly and regular migration. In this regard, IOM and Turkmenistan expressed their commitment to further cooperation.

The IOM leader supported Turkmenistan's initiative to declare 2025 the International Year of Peace and Confidence and expressed hope to participate in the conference to be held next December.
