Turkmenistan signs 6 agreements at UN conference

A number of documents were signed on the margins of the LLDC3 conference

Ashgabat, August 6 - Arzuw.news. Turkmenistan signed six bilateral agreements with various countries on the sidelines of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which was held on August 5. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the signing ceremony, protocols on political consultations with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Burkina Faso and the Republic of Malawi were formalized. In addition, Turkmenistan established diplomatic relations with the Kingdom of Eswatini through the signing of the relevant protocol.

Special attention was paid to economic cooperation - an agreement was signed between the Governments of Turkmenistan and the Slovak Republic in this sphere.

Two project documents were also approved: technical assistance on regional connectivity and digital transformation of customs services, and an annual work plan for 2025 on building resilient communities to prevent violent extremism in Central Asia.

The signing took place on the margins of an international conference on the development of landlocked countries.
