A delegation from Turkmenistan participated in the Asia-Pacific Forum organized by ESCAP. The forum was devoted to sustainable development in all spheres and ended on March 31. The most important task of the large-scale event was the exchange of experience in combating the spread of coronavirus infection.
Acting Head of the Ministry of Finance M. Serdarov shared Turkmenistan's experience in protecting the population from COVID-19. He spoke about numerous measures taken in the country to prevent the disease and preserve the stability of the economy.
Also, the acting head of the Finance Ministry stressed that the president approved the 30-year program of socio-economic development of the state, which outlines further steps for sustainable development of Turkmenistan during the pandemic and beyond.
