Turkmenistan participated in the ministerial meeting on ecology

Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan Nury Jumashov presented the country at the ministerial meeting on exchange of experience in the environmental sphere and realization of the goals of the Paris Agreement and NetZero in Seoul. This is reported in the online edition "Westiabad."

The Turkmen side presented the country's progress in preserving and ensuring environmental sustainability, reducing the negative impact of the industrial sector on nature, developing clean technologies and renewable energy sources. Attention was paid to the plans to establish in Ashgabat a regional center for climate technologies in Central Asia.

Within the framework of the trip, the Turkmen delegation met with Chairman of the Global Green Growth Institute Ban Ki-moon, during which the effectiveness and diversity of cooperation between Turkmenistan and South Korea were emphasized.
