The Aba Annaev International Horse Breeding Academy of Arkadag City was opened in June last year as part of the first phase of the city's development. The specialized academy provides students with great opportunities in various areas of training in the field of horse breeding. This is reported by the online edition "CentralAsia.news".
Today, 130 students study at five faculties in 9 specialties and 16 specialists teach. The IAC infrastructure includes the main and educational buildings, manege, stables, training and pleasure grounds for horses, outdoor and indoor sports grounds, museum, library, dormitories and canteen.
A scientific and production center of horse breeding and the State Equestrian Circus named after Göroğlu have also been built in Arkadag. This allows young people to get a quality higher education in the equestrian industry and successfully engage in scientific research in this field.
Thus, Turkmenistan can be rightfully called a major international center for the preservation of Akhal-Teke horses for future generations.
