Turkmenistan participates in the session of the World Organization for Animal Health

The Turkmen delegation arrived in Paris to participate in the 90th Annual General Session of the World Organization for Animal Health from 21 to 25 May this year. This was reported by the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

In total, representatives from 182 countries and international experts will take part in the forum. Turkmenistan is represented at the event by the leadership of the State Veterinary Service of the country.

The agenda of this session included data on the prevalence of infectious animal diseases in the world, and much attention was paid to the protection of wild fauna. The Heads of OIE and FAO presented their report on the implementation of the 7th Global Plan of the Organization over the past year. Administrative and technical resolutions were signed at the end of the session.
