Parliamentary leaders of CA and Korea meet in Ashgabat

The second meeting of parliamentary leaders of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea was held in Ashgabat on October 14. About it reports Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting it was noted that inter-parliamentary cooperation is of special importance in the implementation of agreements at the highest level, as well as in the expansion of interstate partnership. In this context, the special significance of inter-parliamentary Friendship Groups was emphasized.

The participants of the meeting considered modern methods of improving parliamentary and lawmaking activities, activation of cooperation between parliamentary friendship groups, women parliamentarians and young diplomats. A Joint Declaration was adopted as a result of the second meeting of the heads of parliaments of CA and Korea.
