December 17, in the capital's Grand Turkmen Hotel, there was the final of the intellectual game "Brain-ring" competition among young people on the digital economy and entrepreneurship.
The event began with opening remarks by Yuri Aronsky, chairman of the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan, and a greeting from Aina Bayramova, JA Worldwide representative in Turkmenistan.
The intellectual battles were fought by 25 teams of five people each. The quiz participants were asked questions covering a wide range of economics, digital technology, history, and culture.
Two teams were the favorites of this year's brain-ring: "Sithi" from the Joint Turkmen-Russian secondary school named after Pushkin and the "TDU" team from Turkmen State University.
Closer to the end of the event, the organizers also announced a game among the willing audience. Volunteers selected participants for two teams in a friendly duel.
At the end of the competition were raffled off valuable prizes from sponsors in various categories, such as "Best Player", "Best Fan", "Striving to Win" and others. The prizes were presented to the winners by the organizers and representatives of the sponsor companies.
The main organizer of the event is the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan, with the support of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) project "Promotion of Youth Development for a Successful Future" implemented in Turkmenistan by international company JA Worldwide.
