A meeting of women with the head of the RCFCA was held in the Mejlis of Turkmenistan

On Wednesday, February 22, the Mejlis hosted a meeting of women of Turkmenistan with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General, head of the UNRCCA Natalia Herman, who arrived in Ashgabat on an official visit. This is reported in the Internet publication: "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in the field of culture, heads of various departments and ministries of Turkmenistan, representatives of universities, public organizations and mass media of the country.

During the event, it was noted that the Women's Dialogue became an informal consultative platform established in late 2020 by representatives of Central Asian countries. The participants of the meeting emphasized that this structure has already shown its effectiveness during its existence.

Natalia German emphasized the increasing role of women in addressing important global and regional challenges. A special emphasis was placed on the policies that make it possible to realize the ideas of gender equality in all spheres of life of modern society.
