V.Trapeznikov spoke about the dynamics of Turkmenistan's economy development for 2023

Economic observer on Turkmenistan Valentin Trapeznikov spoke about the dynamic development of the Turkmen economy by the end of 2023. This is reported by the online edition of Vestiabad.ru.

The expert emphasized that the GDP growth rate was 6.3% and output increased by 7.8%.
The sum of investments amounted to AZN 38.87 billion, and half of this sum was directed to the objects of production purpose, the other half - to the objects of social purpose.
Foreign trade turnover in 2023 amounted to about 19 billion dollars.

The leading sector of Turkmenistan's economic development is industry, whose share in the country's GDP amounted to 33%. Agriculture accounted for 11.3% of GDP, while the construction industry accounted for 6.3% of GDP. The economic observer noted that 49.4% of Turkmenistan's GDP was created by trade and transportation and communication complexes, as well as other services.
