Turkmen railroaders held an online meeting with French experts

An online meeting of specialists of the Turkmen Demiryollary Company with experts of the French company Arterail under the leadership of Jerome Garcia on cooperation in the field of railway transportation was held. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.

The French side expressed its interest in strengthening cooperation with the company "Turkmendemiryollary" in the railroad sector and in the implementation of projects on modernization and electrification of Turkmenistan's railroads.

The Turkmen side put forward a proposal to visit the country in order to familiarize with the industry and discuss the main areas of cooperation. A proposal was made to prepare a draft Memorandum of Understanding between the specialized agencies of Turkmenistan and France.
