Turkmenistan congratulates participants of the conference in the field of health care

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov greeted the participants of the International Exhibition and Scientific Conference "Health Care, Education and Sports in the Era of Renaissance of a New Era of a Powerful State" and congratulated them on the beginning of the events timed to the Day of Health Care and Medical Industry Workers. The head of state noted that during the years of independence the country has built a solid foundation for the national health care, education and sports systems, which are now actively developing. Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the priority of health protection of citizens, implementation of preventive measures and social security of the population.

According to the head of state, modern treatment and prevention centers, multidisciplinary hospitals, sanatoriums and pharmaceutical enterprises are being built in the capital and regions. The President of Turkmenistan also noted the establishment of the International Pediatric Center, Scientific and Clinical Center of Oncology, Dental Center and medical cluster in the city of Arkadag, as well as the expansion of the Arçman sanatorium.

The President of Turkmenistan stressed the importance of international cooperation, introduction of advanced medical technologies and implementation of the State Program "Saglyk".

Serdar Berdimuhamedov reported on the improvement of the education system, construction of modern educational institutions, transition to twelve-year general secondary education and development of digital technologies in education.

The head of state noted comprehensive reforms in the field of sports, development of mass and professional sports, creation of conditions for holding international competitions and strengthening cooperation with international sports organizations. The President of Turkmenistan emphasized the achievements of Turkmen athletes in the world arena and their contribution to raising the country's prestige.
