On Sunday, November 10, Turkmenistan held festive events dedicated to the Harvest Day, which symbolizes food abundance of the Turkmen land. The main celebrations were held on the coast of the Karakum River on the territory of the capital of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."
The participants of the solemn events were the Chairman of Mejlis, heads of various ministries and departments of the country, members of Khalk Maslakhaty, representatives of public organizations, members of foreign diplomatic missions, honorary elders.
On the embankment of the Karakum River, musical groups performed, and an open-air exhibition of achievements of the agricultural sector was held. One could see works of applied art and products of Turkmen jewelers at the exhibition. The stands dedicated to the country's achievements in water management and horse breeding aroused interest of the guests.
