UNDP and the Government of Turkmenistan signed an agreement under which a new project to combat tuberculosis will be implemented from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2027. This is reported by MIC of Turkmenistan.
The US$6.2 million project is funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
Within the framework of this initiative, it is planned to actively introduce modern digital solutions into the medical sector, expand the therapeutic regimens for TB treatment, and increase patients' access to modern diagnostic procedures and medicines. Much attention will be paid to effective medical support for patients.
