The preparatory stage of the elections of members of the People's Council of the Bicameral Parliament of Turkmenistan came to an end. The registration campaign was held in accordance with the Turkmen legislation in an open format.
The Central Commission for Elections and Referendums held ceremonial presentation of certificates to the 111 applicants who have successfully completed the registration stage. You can read their biographical data in the national newspapers Neitralnyi Turkmenistan and Türkmenistan and local publications.
It should be noted that a total of 48 mandates are provided for the Khalk Maslakhaty. Campaigning begins from the date of registration and must be completed one day before March 28, 2021, when the elections are scheduled.
