Turkmenistan's foreign trade turnover increased by 7.2%

At the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimiradov presented a report on macroeconomic indicators for 5 months of the current year. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

It was noted that in Turkmenistan during this period there is a stable growth of GDP. The volume of retail trade turnover increased by 9.2%, and foreign trade turnover - by 7.2%. The revenue part of the state budget was executed by 113.3%, the expenditure part - by 97.6%.

The average monthly salary also increased by 9.9% compared to the same period in 2022. It was reported in the report that in the first 5 months of this year, the volume of utilized investments increased by 27.7% year-on-year.

Having heard Geldimiradov's report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave a number of instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
