Over the past two months, companies in Turkmenistan were able to increase agricultural production by more than 60% compared to the same period last year. The data came from Chary Gylydzhov, who is in charge of supervising the private sector of the country's economy. The growth of production was reported at the last Cabinet meeting. The industry is not lagging behind the companies producing agricultural products and also increased the volume of production by 13%.
At the end of the meeting, the President defined the further vector of work for Chary Gylydzhov and other members of the government - it is necessary to analyze the export and import of locally produced goods. On the basis of the data obtained, to review which goods can be produced independently and direct financial support to these sectors, and which cannot be abandoned for the time being. Imports need to be increased so that products from Turkmenistan become popular in other countries and sales grow, which will contribute to the development of the national economy in the future.
