A seminar organized and held under the auspices of the country office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) started in Ashgabat.
The event was attended by authorized persons from the Ministry of Trade, Finance and Economy, the Central Bank, law enforcement agencies and customs.
The parties were interested in promoting regional economic relations and cooperation in the legal field. The adoption of joint bilateral decisions on these issues should contribute to a favorable climate for the inflow of foreign investment in the economy of Turkmenistan and the expansion of international business.
According to experts in OSCE countries, so-called "free economic zones" fruitfully operate in all areas: evaluation of the effectiveness of countries' development, customs regulations and other issues.
Turkmenistan is on the verge of developing free economic zones, so special attention was paid to familiarizing the principles of their operation.
