On Sunday, March 26, 2023, at 7 a.m. at the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan in Italy, polling station No. 1 was opened where citizens of Turkmenistan temporarily staying or residing in the territory of the Italian Republic could express their civic position. This was reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Italy.
The staff of the Foreign Ministry made all the necessary efforts to ensure the smooth operation of the polling station throughout the voting day from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. local time. The organization of work at the polling station was carried out in accordance with the principles of openness and transparency of elections.
The election was fully in line with the Constitution of Turkmenistan and universally recognized norms of international law. Voter voting was completed at 19.00.
