Turkmenistan sets dates for the start of grain harvesting campaign

At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on May 26, A. Yazmyradov prepared and voiced a report on measures taken to improve the agricultural sector of the country and increase the production of agricultural crops. This is reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Among the main issues contained in the report are the milestones for the fulfillment of the mulberry cocoons production plan. Yazmyradov also noted that work is actively carried out to care, increase yields and harvest potatoes and melons, agricultural machinery and reception centers are carefully prepared.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the effective development of the country's agricultural complex and ordered to start the grain harvesting campaign on June 2 for farmers in Akhal, Mary and Lebap velayats, and on June 9 - in Balkan and Dashoguz velayats.
