Turkmen diplomatic missions in foreign countries held sports events on the eve of World Bicycle Day. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
In London on May 31, members of the diplomatic mission and Turkmen students took part in actions on the occasion of the Bicycle Day and the 300th anniversary of the birth of poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli. In the Romanian capital, a mass sports action was held in the park complex of King Mihai I with the support of the city government and the Green Revolution Association.
In Pakistan, the Turkmen diplomatic mission together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan and the Serena Hotels organization also widely celebrated the "World Bicycle Day-2024". A bicycle rally was held in the capital of Saudi Arabia with the support of the country's Cycling Federation. Employees of Turkmen Embassies organized a bicycle rally on June 2 in Armenia and on June 3 in Georgia. Mass bicycle rallies were also held in the UAE, Russia, Germany, Kazakhstan, France and India.
