The results of the work of the military and law enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan were reviewed

On September 3, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council, which reviewed the results of the work of military and law enforcement agencies in January-August this year, TDH reports.

During the meeting, Secretary of the State Security Council, Defense Minister B. Gundogdiyev reported on the work carried out in the National Army since the beginning of the year, the implementation of the instructions given by the head of state to strengthen the defense capacity of the country. He also reported on the measures being implemented to develop the activities of subordinate structures in accordance with the realities of the time and to create proper conditions for the service and life of servicemen.

At the same time, there was a report on the successful holding of entrance exams to specialized educational institutions of military and law enforcement bodies, on the ongoing preparations for the military parade on the occasion of a significant date - the 33rd anniversary of the independence of the Fatherland.

Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense noted that recently, with the participation of the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a new complex of buildings of the Specialized Military School named after Berdimuhamed Annaev of the Ministry of Defense was inaugurated. All conditions and opportunities have been created there for the formation of the young generation of defenders of the Fatherland, development of their abilities and talents, mastering the skills of various military professions, fruitful study and training, as well as for the development of their skills.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused attention on the upcoming solemn military parade in honor of the next anniversary of the sacred independence of the Fatherland and instructed the Secretary of the State Security Council and the Minister of Defense to ensure a high level of its conduct. It was also instructed to take appropriate measures to improve the professionalism of officers and educate soldiers in the spirit of boundless love for the Fatherland.

Then General Prosecutor B.Mukhamedov, Minister of Internal Affairs M.Khydyrov, Chairman of the Supreme Court B.Hojamgulyev, Minister of National Security N.Atagaraev, Head of the State Border Service Y.Nuryev, Minister of Adalat M.Taganov, Chairman of the State Customs Service M.Khudaykulyev, Chairman of the State Migration Service A.Sazakov reported on the results of the activities of the structures headed by them for eight months of this year.

During the meeting it was reported about the beginning of the month "Road Safety - Peace of our lives" and planned activities to optimize traffic flow in the capital and velayats, raise awareness of pedestrians and drivers about the rules of the road.

Noting the importance of the month traditionally held in September on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country ordered to ensure an organized and high level of holding all the planned events.

Also during the meeting, a decree was signed on the appointment and dismissal of judges of the courts of Turkmenistan, as well as on the assignment of qualification classes to them.

Summing up the meeting, the head of Turkmenistan said that Turkmenistan pays great attention to strengthening the defense capability of the sovereign state, improving social and living conditions of the defenders of the Fatherland and their families and noted that the work in this direction will be continued in the future.
