The President of Turkmenistan held a working meeting on the digital system

The President gave instructions on completion of grain harvesting

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the state of agricultural works in the country. The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev and leaders of all velayats.

At the end of the meeting, the head of state gave specific instructions on the quality completion of the grain harvesting campaign and further care of cotton. President Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to introduce modern methods and technologies in agricultural production to increase yields.

Deputy Prime Minister T. Atakhallyev said that wheat harvesting is in its final stage across the country.

The highest results were shown by Akhal province, where over 400 thousand tons of grain were harvested. Mr. T. Nurmyradov reported on the fulfillment of all contractual obligations. In the velayat the reaping is being completed and plowing of vacated areas is being carried out to prepare for the next season.

In Balkan velayat, Hyakim H. Ashirmyradov reported on the progress of harvesting and measures to prepare land for a new sowing season. In Dashoguz velayat under the leadership of khakim D. Babayev wheat reaping continues, at the same time rice plantations are being cared for according to agro-technical requirements.

Hyakim of Lebap velayat M. Annanepesov reported on plowing and procurement of wheat seed material. In Mary velayat, Hyakim B. Orazov reported on harvesting without losses and ongoing sowing of sugar beet.

In all regions of the country intensive care of cotton plantations is carried out: inter-row cultivation, application of mineral fertilizers and irrigation. At the same time, potatoes and melon crops are harvested to supply domestic markets.

All agricultural activities are implemented under the Presidential Program for Socio-Economic Development of the country for 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.
