Halk Maslakhaty is preparing for a meeting on September 19

The Presidium of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan held a meeting chaired by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on August 20 to discuss preparations for the next meeting on September 19 and the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the country's permanent neutrality. The Khalk Maslakhaty, established on January 21, 2023 as the highest representative body of people's power, functions on the basis of the principles of democracy, transparency, justice and the rule of law. The activities of the institution are regulated by a special Constitutional Act.

The organization is based on centuries-old national traditions of public administration and serves as a link between the authorities and society. Khalk Maslakhaty serves as a platform for intergenerational dialog, where the experience of elders helps to guide the youth.

The main purpose of the Institute's activity is to form modern mechanisms of socio-economic development and effective government. Regular meetings make decisions aimed at improving the living standards of citizens in accordance with the presidential doctrine "The Motherland is the Motherland only with the people!
