The current elections are held on a broad alternative basis, with several candidates running for each deputy's seat, which makes the elections fully compliant with the criteria of transparency and democracy. The right to represent voters in the Mejlis and local bodies of executive power and self-government has been given to the most worthy compatriots who enjoy the respect of the people.

According to the electoral commission, all polling stations opened at the same time of 7 a.m., which also applies to polling stations outside the country.

The election process is monitored by local and international observation missions.
