Turkmen-Chinese inter-ministerial consultations were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on January 15, 2025. The Turkmen delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Akhmet Gurbanov, while the Chinese delegation was headed by Assistant Foreign Minister of China Liu Bin. In the course of consultations, the sides exchanged views on topical issues of current cooperation in a wide range of areas. The sides emphasized the importance of regular interaction at the highest and governmental levels, and also stressed the importance of productive meetings at the level of foreign policy departments.
Attention was paid to China's participation in the activities planned for the declaration of 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust".
