A number of important cultural events will be held in Hungary from August 7 to 11, which will give a new impetus to the development of relations between Hungary and Turkmenistan. At the invitation of the Hungarian side, the Turkmen delegation will take part in the cultural event "Kurultai", within the framework of which it is planned to hold the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan and the inauguration of the monument to the great Turkmen poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Fragi. Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov spoke about strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation with Hungary during the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan. He also noted that Hungary expressed gratitude to Turkmenistan for the installation of a sculpture of the outstanding Hungarian poet Shandor Petőfi in a new park complex in Ashgabat.
