Daewoo branch to open in Turkmenistan

A branch of South Korean company Daewoo E&C is planned to open in Turkmenistan in September-October this year. This is reported on the website of "Business Turkmenistan".

The company's President Baek Jong-wan said that the opening of the branch office will help establish closer relations with the government of Turkmenistan.

Earlier at Daewoo E&C headquarters, Chairman of the Board of Directors Jeong Won Ju met with the head of the Foreign Economic Bank R. Dzhepbarov, Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmenhimiya" D. Sapbayev and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annamammedov.

South Korea also plans to build a phosphate fertilizer plant in Lebap velayat and a urea and ammonia fertilizer plant in Balkan velayat.
