Türkmeniň Altyn asyry" contest announced in Turkmenistan

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree "On Announcing the Contest for the President of Turkmenistan "Türkmeniň Altyn asyry" Award among figures of literature, culture and art, amateur young singers and gifted children", TDH reports.
The contest is held with a view to identifying talented creative workers who, through highly artistic works, glorify the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, the benevolent domestic and foreign policies, the historical transformation of their native country, the prosperous life of our happy people, the glorious history, beautiful nature and national principles.
The decree prescribes to ensure the participation in the contest of foreign citizens who have expressed a desire to take part in it. The winners of the contest will be determined according to the established nominations. Within the framework of the contest, a TV contest of young amateur singers "Ýaňlan, Diýarym!", a contest among dutar musicians-bakhshi musicians "Çalsana, bagşy!" and a contest among talented children "Garaşsyzlyzlygyň merjen däneleri" were also announced.
The full Decree of the President of Turkmenistan will be published in the newspaper "Edebiýat we sungat".
