Delegation of the UAE news agency WAM is on a working visit to Turkmenistan

On January 25, Deputy Foreign Minister Myahri Byashimova met with a delegation of the United Arab Emirates news agency "WAM" headed by Director General Mohammed Jalal Al Raisi in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

In the course of the meeting the issues of bilateral cooperation in the information sphere were discussed.
Myahri Byashimova noted the important role of regular mutual visits of the heads of state in establishing partnership.

The Director General of WAM emphasized the special importance of establishing fruitful contacts in the cultural and humanitarian sphere and the media. He also familiarized the participants of the meeting with the activities of the agency he heads and invited the Turkmen delegation to participate in the Global Media Congress in autumn 2024 in Abu Dhabi.
