Turkmenistan hosted a conference on green economy

On September 20, the Economic Complex of Turkmenistan hosted a scientific-practical conference on "Digital and "green" economy - a condition for sustainable economic development". This was reported by the online edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

Representatives of the country's ministries and agencies, financial institutions and universities took part in the forum dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence. It was noted that introduction of innovations and creation of digital economy are of special importance in the context of comprehensive development of the country.

Within the framework of the "Concept for the Development of Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2019-2025", the information and communication base of different sectors of the country's economy is being strengthened, the gradual transition of enterprises to the digital economy and the modernization of their material and technical base are being carried out.
