Inter-Ministerial Consultations between Turkmenistan and Palestine held

Political consultations between the heads of foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and the State of Palestine were held today in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan was represented at the meeting by Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov, and Palestine was represented by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine Riyad Al-Maliki.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for further development of cooperation in political, trade and economic, cultural, humanitarian and other fields. The sides stressed the importance of organizing high-level and high-level contacts. Turkmenistan initiated the organization and holding of a business council with the participation of representatives of the private and public sectors of the economy of the two countries.

In the course of the meeting it was noted that for the development of interstate relations it is necessary to continue holding inter-ministerial consultations.
